Playtech’s System Security team is looking for a proactive AI Security Engineer (System Security) to help secure how we design, build, and operate AI systems across both on-premise and cloud environments.
In this role, you will focus mainly on infrastructure security, while also working closely with teams across development, security, and AI adoption. You should have hands-on experience securing or administering the platforms behind AI and agentic workloads, including containerization, virtualization, CI/CD pipelines, and related technologies.

SYSTEM SECURITY TEAM
You will be part of the System Security - Endpoint & Gateway team, collaborating closely with another System Security team focused on Data & Identity Security. You will work with team members including an AI Security Engineer focused on Workforce AI, System Security Engineers, and a Principal Security Engineer, while also collaborating with the Playtech AI Committee, other Playtech Security teams, the Application Security Team, and teams across the wider business.

Review AI systems and infrastructure; Assess existing guardrails and controls; Advise on secure-by-design AI architecture; Recommend and prioritize hardening across LLM infrastructure; Evaluate the AI supply chain; Define standards and best-practice guidance for secure AI; Review logging, observability, and detection coverage for AI workloads; Assess identity, access, and secrets management; Support compliance in regulated environments; Drive innovation within the team; Hold relevant Cyber Security/IT certifications or equivalent experience; Possess solid infrastructure and security engineering experience (Linux, networking, cloud, IAM, container security, automation); Have experience with self-hosted LLM deployment and cloud LLM platforms; Be able to review and assess AI systems against best practices; Possess prior knowledge of LLM-specific threats and mitigations; Have knowledge of AI security frameworks and guidelines (OWASP, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act); Have prior experience in guardrail implementation and design evaluation; Have exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible); Have experience navigating regulated environments; Possess clear communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
