役割概要：
Team ASOBIでは、情熱と才能を持つ新進気鋭のゲームプレイプログラマーを募集しています。
このポジションでは、プレイヤー操作およびそれに関連する遊びの仕組みの実装を担当し、それらを完成度の高い品質へと仕上げていただきます。必要に応じて、デザインに対する考え方や文化的な視点、制作技術に関するトレーニングを受けていただきます。

役割・職責：

• 物理エンジンや関連技術を活用しながら、高度で面白いゲームプレイメカニクスを設計・実装します。
• プロトタイプを素早く制作し、スピード感を持って反復的に改善を行います。
• 自身のゲームデザインの感性や創造性、ユーモアをインタラクション設計に反映します。
• システムプログラマー、ゲームデザイナー、アーティストと連携し、プロトタイプを最終品質にまで仕上げます。
• 社内のゲームプレイエンジン、各種システム、ツールを習得します。
• 自身のタスクを主体的に管理し、品質を保ちながら期限内にゲームプレイ要素を仕上げます。

必要スキル

• ゲームデザインおよびゲーム全般に対する強い情熱を持っていること。
• 物理エンジンや関連アルゴリズムに関する基礎知識があること。
• C++での開発経験があること。
• 英語の学習意欲のある方を歓迎（英会話レッスンを受講可能）
• 他作品のゲームやゲームプレイメカニクスに関する深い知識があること。
• 高い分析力があり、なぜその仕組みが面白いのかを的確に説明できること。
• 物事をシンプルかつ普遍的な観点で考えられること。

Experience Level:
All levels. No professional game experience required but you will need to prove your ability at creating gameplay via personal projects.

Employment type:
Permanent or Contract-based. Full-time (8 hours per day with some flexibility for time).

Location:
Tokyo area (expected to work onsite).  

Role overview:
Team ASOBI is looking for a passionate, skilled and creative upcoming Gameplay Programmer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating player controls and related gameplay mechanics and bring those to finished quality. Where needed, will provide training and coaching to teach design philosophies, cultural thinking and techniques. We expect a positive learning attitude, high motivation and great commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Create advanced and fun gameplay mechanics around physics engines and related techniques.
• Create prototypes quickly and iterate fast to continuously improve them.
• Bring your own game design sense, creativity and humor to these interactions.
• Collaborate with system programmers, game designers, and artists to bring prototypes up to final quality.
• Learn in-house gameplay engine, systems, and tools.
• Manage your own tasks and deliver quality gameplay on time.

 Skills required

• Passion for game design and play in general.
• Basic knowledge of physics engines and related algorithms.
• C++ experience.
• Intermediate Japanese language skill.
• Strong knowledge of other games and gameplay mechanics
• Good analytic skills. Can explain precisely why a mechanic is fun.
• Ability to think in simple and universal terms.
• Ability to work fast and autonomously.
• Great attention for detail.
• Willingness and patience to learn with a respectful attitude.
• Social and outgoing personality.

You may be required to pass a practical test using your own time and resources.
