Reporting to Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the full scope of activity in the General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting. You will support the efficient and effective running of Finance operations through driving process improvements and change.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Support preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements for the LAI Games Group.
- Perform intercompany reconciliation and elimination entries for Group Reporting.
- Execute the month end close process and monitor progress of others in the group to meet the reporting timeline promptly.
General Ledger & Accounting
- Prepare journal entries and maintain month end close checklist for business(es) to ensure completeness of book-keeping each month on a timely manner.
- Carry out gross profit margin analysis and operating expenses review as part of the month end close process.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet review and reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of month end close.
- Prepare sales commission and royalties computation and reporting to the stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate update of the fixed asset registers and assist on IFRS 16 adjustment at each financial year end.
- Ensure accounting records comply with IFRS.
Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Prepare local compliance works – GST returns, withholding tax and XBRL filing.
- Support corporate tax related issues in accordance with local filing and regulatory requirements.
- Support year end audit(s) with the business(es).
- Preparation and submission of Year-end audit schedules.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency.

Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and standard operating procedures.

Support ERP enhancements and automation initiatives.

Any other matters as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Required Skills and Experience
- Possess at least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA).
- Experience in group consolidation and financial reporting is preferred.
- Oracle NetSuite experience is an added advantage.

- Finance teams in the region.
- Management/Executive team.
- Supply Chain / Operation teams in the region.
- Sales & Marketing departments in the region.
- Bankers, Auditors and Tax Agent.
Qualifications/Education
- Professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA).
- Diploma in accountancy with at least 5 years of hand on accounting experience Or
- Preferably Degree in accountancy or Business Administration/ Studies with major.
