役割について 「Puzzle Panic」の開発チームにおいて、日本語と英語のコミュニケーションを橋渡しする社内通訳者を募集します。言語の壁は開発の壁である、という考えのもと、その障害を取り除き、グローバルNo.1を目指す開発を円滑に進めることがこのポジションのミッションです。エンジニアリングミーティングに限らず、社内コミュニケーション全般に深く関わっていただきます。

業務内容

• 不定期に開催される社内会議やオンライン会議、また日常的なオフィス内のコミュニケーションにおける、日英通訳の提供
• Unityエンジニアが参加する会議において、技術用語や開発コンテキストを正確に理解し、技術的なニュアンスを的確に伝える高度な同時通訳を提供
• Unityエンジンの最新動向や社内開発状況について継続的にリサーチを行い、技術的な議論における通訳の正確性・品質を維持
• 翻訳において文化的なニュアンスが正確に伝わるように、コンテンツのローカライズを支援
• 会議・カンファレンス・各種ディスカッションにおいて円滑なコミュニケーションを実現するための通訳・サポートを提供
• オフィス会議の運営、社内イベント、人事・総務（採用活動含む）関連業務のサポート
• 採用活動において面接へ参加し、通訳・翻訳スキルを活かして採用プロセスをサポート

応募条件

• 通訳の実務経験3年以上
• 会議における同時通訳の実務経験
• ソフトウェアエンジニアリングに関する知識
• 日本語・英語ともにビジネスレベル〜ネイティブレベルの語学力
• ゲーム開発企業の一員として、意欲的に開発に貢献できる方
• 主体性を持ち、自ら考え、行動し、成果を出せる方。業界最速の開発スピードに適応すべく、周囲のワークフロー改善にも継続的に取り組める方

About the Role:

We are looking for an in-house interpreter to bridge Japanese and English communication for our development team behind “Puzzle Panic”, a global mobile game aiming to be the world's #1. We believe that language barriers are development barriers and the mission of this role is to remove it and keep our production moving at full speed toward that goal. This position extends beyond engineering meetings to all aspects of internal communication.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Provide Japanese-English interpretation for internal meetings and office conversations, covering both in-person and online meetings held on an irregular basis, as well as day-to-day communication around the office
• Deliver specialized simultaneous interpretation for meetings involving Unity engineers, requiring a solid understanding of technical terminology and development context to accurately convey technical nuance
• Continuously research the latest Unity engine trends and internal development progress to maintain interpretation accuracy and quality in technical discussions
• Assist in the localization of content, ensuring cultural nuances are accurately conveyed in translations
• Provide support  during meetings, conferences, and discussions to ensure seamless communication. 
• Support Office related projects, organisation of meetings, company events, HR & Administration initiatives
• Collaborate on recruitment efforts, participating in interviews and contributing your linguistic prowess to the process

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional interpretation experience
• Hands-on experience with simultaneous interpretation in meeting settings
• Working knowledge of software engineering concepts
• Business to native level proficiency in both Japanese and English
• Enthusiastic about being an integral part of a dynamic game development company.
• A proactive mindset, someone who thinks, acts, and delivers results independently, and continuously seeks to improve the workflow around them, fitting our industry-fastest development pace

• Prior exposure to game localization and project management

Contract Type Fix-term Contract (6 months)
