ポジション概要
運用中タイトルにおけるVFX制作を担当し、高い専門性と実務経験を活かして、ビジュアルクオリティの向上を牽引していただきます。
業務内容
- アートディレクターやコンセプトアーティストと連携し、タイトルに適したVFXスタイルおよび品質基準を策定
- エフェクト、シミュレーション、テクスチャ、マテリアルなどのVFXアセット制作を主導
- 社内外のVFXチームのタスク管理、スケジュール調整、育成、ドキュメントの作成
- エンジニアやテクニカルアーティストと協力し、VFX制作パイプラインの構築・改善
- DCCツールやゲームエンジン上で発生する、VFXに関する技術的な問題の調査・解決
- ビジュアル品質とパフォーマンスの両立に向けた、アセットの最適化および品質管理
応募条件
- ゲーム開発におけるVFX制作の実務経験5年以上、または同等のスキル・経験
- VFXの表現方針や制作方針を示し、チームの制作を主体的に牽引した経験
- メンバーへの制作指示、レビュー、フィードバックを通じて、チーム全体のクオリティ向上を推進した経験
- タイミング、モーション、シルエット、重量感、ボリューム感に関する深い理解
- 業界標準のDCCツール（Maya、Houdini、Photoshop等）を用いたアセット制作の習熟
- Unreal Engine、Unity、または独自ゲームエンジンを使用したリアルタイムVFXの実務経験
- 最適化されたコンテンツ制作のための、パフォーマンス予算や技術的制約に関する確かな理解
- 部門を横断した高い連携能力、およびチームの状況を把握しながら制作を主体的に推進できる能力

Senior VFX Artist

**About the Role:
** You will be responsible for VFX production on live-service titles, leveraging your high level of expertise and hands-on experience to drive improvements in visual quality.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with art directors and concept artists to establish VFX style and quality standards appropriate to the title
- Lead the production of VFX assets, including effects, simulations, textures, and materials
- Manage tasks, coordinate schedules, mentor staff, and create documentation for internal and external VFX teams
- Collaborate with engineers and technical artists to build and improve the VFX production pipeline
- Investigate and resolve VFX-related technical issues that arise in DCC tools and game engines
- Optimize assets and manage quality with the aim of balancing visual quality and performance
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of practical experience in VFX production for game development, or equivalent skills and experience
- Experience presenting VFX expression policies and production direction, and proactively leading a team's production
- Experience driving quality improvement across the whole team through instructing, reviewing, and providing feedback to members
- Deep understanding of timing, motion, silhouette, weight, and volume
- Proficiency in asset production using industry-standard DCC tools (Maya, Houdini, Photoshop, etc.)
- Practical experience with real-time VFX using Unreal Engine, Unity, or a proprietary game engine
- Solid understanding of performance budgets and technical constraints for optimized content production
- High level of cross-departmental collaboration skills, and the ability to proactively drive production while grasping the team's situation
Nice to Have:
- Experience profiling and optimizing assets with consideration for memory and performance
- Broad interest in real-time rendering technology and asset production tools in general
- Experience developing and introducing VFX production tools and automation tools
- Experience with procedural content production
- Experience establishing VFX quality standards and regulations
