👀 The Role
Title: Head of Media Strategy & Planning
Team: Growth
Location: Gibraltar, on-site fulltime.
We’re looking for a Head of Media Strategy & Planning to lead how Midnite deploys marketing investment across channels, markets, and time horizons.
This role sits at the centre of the Growth organisation and is responsible for building a sophisticated, commercially-led media investment capability that drives long-term business impact, not just short-term platform performance. You’ll own the strategic planning layer across all paid and growth media activity, connecting commercial priorities, forecasting, campaign planning, budget allocation, and measurement into a unified operating model.
As Midnite scales internationally, this role will play a critical role in shaping how we balance acquisition, retention, brand investment, market expansion, and growth efficiency across multiple regulated markets.
You will:
Own Midnite’s overarching media investment strategy across paid and growth channels
Define budget allocation across channels, products, campaigns, audiences, and markets
Lead annual, quarterly, and rolling media planning cycles
Translate commercial growth targets into actionable media investment strategies
Develop frameworks focused on incrementally and true business contribution
Partner with Analytics and Data Science teams on MMM, attribution, forecasting, and testing methodologies
Support international market launch and scaling strategies
Align media investment against broader campaign and commercial priorities
Provide strategic direction to channel specialists and agency partners
Improve forecasting quality, planning sophistication, and operational consistency across Growth
Balance short-term performance with long-term growth and market share objectives
Build strong relationships with major platform and agency partners
The next Midniter:
Has deep experience across media strategy, performance marketing, or growth planning functions
Understands modern measurement approaches including incrementality and attribution limitations
Has managed large-scale acquisition budgets across multiple markets
Thinks commercially and strategically about growth investment decisions
Is highly analytical and comfortable working with forecasting and modelling frameworks
Can influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams effectively
Has experience managing agency relationships and external strategic partners
Thrives operating in fast-moving, scaling environments
Balances strategic thinking with operational rigour and execution focus
Is proactive, collaborative, and highly accountable
