👀 The Role
Title: Paid Search Manager
Team: Performance Marketing
Location: Gibraltar, on-site.
Paid Search is one of Midnite's biggest acquisition channels and a key driver of sustainable growth. As Paid Search Manager, you’ll work closely with our agency partner while owning the commercial strategy and performance of Paid Search. You’ll govern budget allocation, challenge execution using your hands-on platform expertise, and ensure investment is judged against genuine incremental contribution, LTV and payback.
You will:
Own the commercial strategy and performance of Paid Search across Google Ads, Apple Search Ads and Microsoft Ads, alongside YouTube.
Hold our agency partner accountable for campaign builds, keyword structures, bidding logic, tracking, budget pacing and commercial performance.
Oversee and challenge keyword strategy, audiences, bidding, automation and campaign structures, leading structured tests to improve incremental performance.
Recommend and govern budget allocation, applying clear scale, hold and stop decisions based on incremental impact, CPA, FTD growth, NGR payback and cohort quality.
Partner with Brand, Creative, Product and Data to improve ads, landing pages, funnel conversion, measurement and the commercial accountability of YouTube investment.
Lead incrementality testing across brand, non-brand and YouTube activity, separating genuine business impact from organic cannibalisation and platform over-attribution.
Turn performance data into clear commercial recommendations.
Support new-market launches by defining appropriate account structures, keyword strategies, regulatory requirements, measurement readiness and commercial benchmarks.
The next Midniter:
Has 3+ years' experience managing large-scale Paid Search campaigns with a strong commercial mindset.
Has hands-on proficiency across Google Ads, Apple Search Ads and Microsoft Ads; experience with SA360 is advantageous.
Is commercially analytical and comfortable working with incrementality, LTV, cohort data and attribution approaches beyond last-click.
Supports new-market launches by defining appropriate account structures, keyword strategies, regulatory requirements, measurement readiness and commercial benchmarks.
Understands bidding strategies, campaign automation and performance optimisation at scale.
Writes compelling ad copy and understands how creative and landing page experience influence performance.
Is highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
Has experience managing or constructively challenging an external agency partner and can turn complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
Experience in gaming, betting or another highly regulated industry is advantageous but not essential.
