Rodeo FX is looking for a Director of Marketing and Communications to define, structure, and evolve the group’s global strategy for branding, marketing, external communications, and outreach.
In a creative, technological, and international environment, this person will play a key role in Rodeo FX's positioning, brand consistency, the quality of its external communications, and support for business priorities. They will help consolidate the strategic positioning of the marketing and communications function by making it even more proactive, structured, measurable, and connected to the group's needs.
Leading a multidisciplinary team, they will be responsible for clarifying priorities, raising execution standards, supporting team development, and ensuring the consistency of initiatives across Rodeo FX's various sites, markets, and business lines.
This role is for a leader capable of combining strategic vision, editorial sense, understanding of digital platforms, brand sensitivity, and strong execution capacity in a creative, fast-paced, and constantly evolving context.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of best practices in marketing, communications, public relations, social media, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, content, and employer brand.
Evolve the service's methods to improve the quality, speed, consistency, and impact of deliverables.
Establish standards, processes, and tools allowing the team to operate at a high level of maturity and efficiency.
Share learnings, data, trends, and recommendations that can support decision-making and brand evolution.
Contribute to making marketing and communications a strategic, modern, credible service recognized as a key partner of the organization.
4 days a week in the office
10 years or more of experience in a senior role in marketing, communications, public relations, brand, or content, ideally in visual effects, animation, entertainment, advertising, technologies, video games, or an international creative industry.
Demonstrated experience in team management, including work prioritization, talent development, performance management, and maintaining strong team cohesion.
Strong ability to define a strategic vision, translate it into concrete action plans, and ensure high-quality execution.
Excellent understanding of digital marketing, social media, content platforms, public relations, and new technologies applied to communications.
Strong sensitivity to brand, storytelling, editorial line, corporate reputation, and the experience of different target audiences.
Ability to evolve in an international, creative, fast-paced, and transforming environment.
Excellent skills in communication, influence, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
Ability to advise management and leadership teams and contribute to strategic discussions with judgment, clarity, and discernment.
Experience in managing budgets, suppliers, agencies, partners, or complex projects.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, make decisions, and stay the course in a demanding context.
Experience in the development, structuring, or professionalization of a marketing and communications department.
Fluency in French and English, both oral and written.*
Availability for occasional international travel.

* The person in this position will need to collaborate daily with our teams located outside of Quebec, particularly in Los Angeles and Toronto, where the working language is primarily English. They will also be called upon to communicate regularly with external non-French-speaking international stakeholders. Proficiency in English is therefore essential to ensure fluid and effective communication in an international work environment and to represent the creative and technical capabilities of Rodeo FX on a global scale.
