Wooga, a leading mobile game studio and global leader in Hidden Object Games, seeks a strategic Senior Business Development Manager to secure top-tier IP deals and integrate partnerships. This 2-year contract role in Berlin focuses on driving key collaborations within the Marketing department.
Founded in 2009, we’re one of the world’s leading game studios, and proud of our extremely international team, consisting of more than 50 different nations. We are part of Playtika and the global leader in the category of Hidden Object Games. With June’s Journey, we’re providing joy for millions of players around the world every day.
Our aim is to keep doing so for many more years, if not decades. In order to be able to do so, we’ve defined a distinct way of how we’re working at Wooga, so that all relevant aspects intertwine and have a positive impact on the game. No matter if you’re part of a game team or support the success of Wooga as part of a central team, all 250+ employees from around the world can make an impact. We’re proud of the environment we’ve built, and believe you’ll enjoy working with some of the best people in the industry.
Our drivers: Speed, Focus, Ownership, and Impact, guide our working style at Wooga and help us make a deliberate choice to focus on what is important to us, while working towards a shared goal.
These drivers shape how we work together and what we expect from ourselves and our leaders.
We are seeking a highly strategic and well-connected Business Developer to join our Marketing department. In this dual-impact role, you will be the driving force behind securing top-tier deals and ensuring those partnerships seamlessly integrate into our games. You will be responsible for full-cycle business development, from proactively targeting major studios to negotiating complex financial deals. Internally, you will act as the bridge between Marketing, Product, and LiveOps, scoping out integrations and building compelling internal and external pitches to bring these collaborations to life.
Please note that this is a 2-year fixed-term contract.
Please note: Research has shown that some under-represented groups in the gaming industry (eg: women) tend to apply only if they meet every single requirement. Here at Wooga, the desire to learn and the willingness to solve problems are more important to us than your experience on paper. We encourage you to apply even if you do not think that you tick all the boxes - thinking outside of such boxes and embracing the diversity of mindsets and backgrounds is what we believe makes our teams thrive.
At Wooga we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for everyone who works here or with us, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion (or lack thereof) and game preferences. Be yourself, we like you that way!
