These terms and conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using ManaBoard.io (the "Platform"), operated by ManaBoard LLC.
By accessing or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part, please refrain from using the Platform.
Content Collection & Attribution
ManaBoard aggregates public job listings from employer career pages to help individuals discover opportunities in the games industry. Our practices are guided by the following principles:
- Public Sources Only
We only collect data from publicly accessible web pages. We do not scrape gated platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed) or sites that explicitly prohibit scraping. - Respect for Source Websites
We honor robots.txt guidelines where applicable and avoid excessive requests. If your organization prefers not to be listed, contact us and we'll remove your data promptly. - Content Ownership
Job descriptions and postings remain the property of their respective companies. ManaBoard displays minimal metadata (e.g., job title, company name, location, summary) and links users to the official job page when available. - Attribution & Removal Requests
If you are a company or rights holder and would like your job listing modified or removed, reach out to us at support@manaboard.io and we will act quickly. - Trademarks & Logos
Company names and logos are displayed for identification and navigation purposes only. We do not claim endorsement, partnership, or affiliation unless explicitly stated.
Payment Terms and Billing
Pricing and Payment
- All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change with 30 days notice
- Payment is required at the time of purchase for boost credits
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods supported by Stripe
- All transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor
Boost Credits
- Boost credits are digital credits used to promote job listings on our platform
- Credits are applied to your account immediately upon successful payment
- Boost credits do not expire and remain in your account until used
- Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Credits cannot be shared between different company accounts
- Unused credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded except as stated in our Refund Policy
Subscription Services
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
- Cancellation Process: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support
- Effective Date: Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period - you retain access until then
- Billing: Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing period
- Price Changes: We will notify you 30 days in advance of any subscription price changes
Free Trials and Auto-Renewal
- Free Trial Terms: Free trials, when offered, will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends
- Trial Cancellation: You must cancel before the free trial expires to avoid charges
- Auto-Renewal Notice: By starting a free trial, you agree to automatic billing when the trial ends
- Trial Credit Card: A valid payment method is required to start free trials
- One Trial Per User: Free trials are limited to one per user and cannot be combined with other offers
Failed Payments and Payment Issues
- If a payment fails, you will be notified via email
- Your account access may be suspended until payment issues are resolved
- You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current and accurate
- Additional fees may apply for failed payment processing
Taxes
- Prices may not include applicable taxes, duties, or fees
- You are responsible for determining and paying applicable taxes
- We may collect sales tax where required by law
- Tax-inclusive pricing will be clearly indicated where applicable
Billing Disputes
- To dispute a charge, contact our support team within 60 days of the transaction
- We will investigate all billing disputes promptly and in good faith
- Disputed charges may be suspended pending resolution
- You may also contact your credit card company or bank to dispute charges
Refund Policy
General Policy
ManaBoard offers refunds under the specific circumstances outlined below. Due to the digital nature of our services, most purchases are final upon completion.
Boost Credits - No Refunds
- Boost credits are non-refundable once purchased
- Credits provide immediate value by enhancing job listing visibility
- Credits are applied to your account instantly upon successful payment
- Unused credits do not expire and remain available for future use
- No refunds will be provided for unused credits
Subscription Refunds
- Monthly Subscriptions: No refunds for partial months - cancellation takes effect at end of billing period
- Annual Subscriptions: Prorated refunds available within 14 days of initial purchase or renewal
- Free Trial Charges: Refunds available within 48 hours if you forgot to cancel before trial ended
- Subscription Benefits: Access to subscription features continues until the end of your billing period
- Downgrade Timing: Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle
Exceptions for Technical Issues
We may provide refunds or account credits in the following circumstances:
- Platform technical issues prevent boost credit usage for more than 48 hours
- Billing errors resulting in duplicate charges
- Unauthorized transactions (subject to investigation)
Refund Request Process
To request a refund under our policy:
- Contact support at support@manaboard.io within 30 days of purchase
- Include your transaction ID and reason for the refund request
- Allow 5-7 business days for investigation and response
- Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days
Processing and Timeline
- Refunds are processed through the original payment method
- Credit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear
- We will send email confirmation when refund processing begins
Acceptable Use Policy
Prohibited Uses
You may not use ManaBoard for:
- Posting fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory job listings
- Circumventing our boost credit system or payment mechanisms
- Automated scraping or data harvesting
- Reselling or redistributing our services without permission
- Any illegal activities or violations of employment law
Employer Responsibilities
- Ensure all job postings are legitimate and comply with applicable employment laws
- Maintain accurate company information and contact details
- Use boost credits only for your own job listings
- Respond professionally to job applicants
Enforcement
- Violations may result in account suspension or termination
- Boost credits may be forfeited for policy violations
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
- Repeated violations may result in permanent account termination
Service Availability and Modifications
- We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our service
- Significant changes to boost credit functionality will be communicated with 30 days notice
- We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ManaBoard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claims related to our service shall not exceed the amount you paid for boost credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.
License
Unless otherwise stated, ManaBoard and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material created for the Platform. All rights are reserved. You may not republish or reproduce materials without our consent.
