Join Pearl Abyss Europe in Amsterdam as a Business Development Intern to gain hands-on experience in the games industry, supporting partnerships and growth strategies for major titles like Black Desert and upcoming releases.
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Business Development Intern to support partnerships, client outreach, day-to-day business development activities, and general support for the Brand Division. This internship is ideal for a student or early-career candidate who is an excellent communicator, commercially minded, and eager to learn the fundamentals of business development in the games industry. You will join a lean but dedicated team working across multiple communities, platforms, and games such as Black Desert, Crimson Desert, and upcoming releases such as DokeV and PLAN 8. This position offers hands-on experience and mentorship, with a unique opportunity to contribute directly to how Pearl Abyss's current and future titles achieve their EMEA goals.

The internship allowance ranges from €650 ~ €1000 per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on directly relevant experience (e.g., previous internships or part-time roles)

For weekly work hours fewer than 40 hours, the allowance and benefits will be paid on a pro rata basis
- Help research and identify potential partners, vendors, and collaboration opportunities that align with company objectives - Support scheduling, agendas, and follow-ups for partner meetings and calls - Prepare draft meeting minutes, summaries, and reports for internal stakeholders under the guidance of the team - Contribute to market, competitor, and industry research - Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external contacts, including across languages and time zones where relevant - Maintain confidentiality around sensitive business and partner information - Currently a registered student at a Dutch university - A deep passion for video games - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Confidence in professional outreach and relationship building - Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace - Available to commit to an internship of at least 32 hours per week for a minimum period of 3 months - Be legally authorized to complete an internship in the Netherlands (e.g. as an EU/EEA citizen or by holding a valid residence permit that allows internship activities sponsored by the university)
