Sony Pictures Imageworks is seeking a Senior Production Coordinator to join our team in our Vancouver location!
Summary**:**
The Senior Production Coordinator reports directly to the Production Department Manager. The role supports APM(s)/DPM(s)/Producer(s) by coordinating a team of artists on a show, possibly in multiple teams or departments. The ideal candidate must have extensive coordinating experience in VFX Feature Film, CG Animation, and/or Game production, with good people and self management skills. A minimum of 4 years experience working in VFX Feature Film, CG animation Feature Film, or Game production is required.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $25.96-$31.83 per hour. Benefits are per company policy: which include healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, Sick and Vacation leave, standard increases as applicable. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.

- Minimum 4 years of extensive coordinating experience in VFX Feature Film, CG Animation Feature Film, or Game production. - Advanced understanding of digital production workflow specific to Assets, Layout, Animation, CFX, FX, and/or Lighting/Comp teams. - Proficiency in tracking shot data and reporting using Shotgrid. - Ability to set team calendars, manage meeting cadences, and facilitate artist/supervisor needs. - Experience liaising effectively between artists, leads, and supervisors. - Strong understanding of production VFX and CG or Game scheduling. - Expert ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of dynamic problem-solving and timely escalation of issues. - Demonstrated ability to mentor more junior Production team members.
