2K Games is seeking a motivated Associate 3D Artist to join their team in San Rafael, California. This temporary role focuses on processing scan data, sculpting high-resolution characters from photogrammetry, and assisting with quality control of the character build process. The artist will work with internal teams to implement high-quality finished character assets.
Requirements
- Portfolio/website demonstrating art skills
- 2+ years of experience with Maya
- Willingness to accept direction and refine work until it is correct
- Active, passionate enthusiasm for AAA video games and realistic character art styles
- 1 published video game as game artist
- Understanding of facial anatomy for video games
- Experience with retopology software (Wrap3D, etc.)
