About this job
CCP is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a deep passion for video games and game development to work with a feature team. You will work on the trailblazing AAA MMO EVE Online out of our studio based in the melting pot of innovation in beautiful Reykjavík, Iceland. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working with a fully stacked team developing a wide variety of features that lead to delivering positive changes to the game and player base.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Software Development position
- An expert in identifying problems, finding and implementing creative solutions, and serving the best experience needed for the project
- Excellent programming and debugging skills
- Familiar with modern software development technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and RabbitMQ
- Technical knowledge of client, server and databases to partner with Tech Directors to advocate the unified tech direction of the game
- A great communicator; able to communicate requirements and estimate the scope of work with the ability to speak to all members of the team in a dynamic and diverse culture
