Activision 2027 Summer Internships - MBA

Activision is looking for talented and innovative students to join our teams for summer 2027. All interns will receive a meaningful project and an unparalleled experience. We’ll provide the tools and resources you need to learn. The challenging and creative work you do throughout your internship will directly impact the team you are contributing to.
All internships will be conducted in-person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often interns work in the office. All interns will have the option to opt into relocation services (flights, trains, or car mileage reimbursement). Additionally, all interns will be provided with a living stipend to subsidize housing, utility, commuting, and miscellaneous costs.
Program Requirements
Currently enrolled in an MBA program and graduating December 2027 – June 2028
Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June
Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts
Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner
Works well with others and contributes to team tasks
Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities
Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively
A passion for significantly impacting game development

Internship Opportunities
MBA Intern, Tech Strategy:
Join a high-impact internship where you'll help shape the future of game development at Activision. Working alongside Technical Product Managers, engineers, and game studio leaders, you'll bridge technical and business teams, contribute to strategic initiatives, and support decisions that impact how games are built and delivered. From evaluating technology investments and improving development pipelines to analyzing large-scale systems and driving operational efficiencies, you'll own meaningful projects with real business impact while gaining exposure to senior engineering and studio leadership, dedicated mentorship, and a global network of industry professionals.
Requirements:
Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent experience also considered.
3+ years of experience in product management, computer science/engineering, business analytics, data analytics, or other technology-focused business roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience using data and tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar platforms to drive decisions.
Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and drive alignment across cross-functional partners.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights and strategic recommendations.
Interest in gaming, technology infrastructure, and collaborating with teams across global studios and functions.
Learning agility and intellectual curiosity, with a track record of quickly mastering new concepts and tackling ambiguous challenges.
Foundational understanding of technology, computer systems, or software development environments.
Exposure to game engines is a plus.
Prior experience in technology strategy or management consulting is a plus

MBA Intern, Studio Strategy & Operations:
Join us at the intersection of strategy, operations, and game development. You'll work closely with studio leadership to turn data into insights, support critical business decisions, and help drive strategic initiatives across the organization. Whether you're building executive presentations, analyzing operational trends, supporting workforce planning, or improving internal processes, you'll help ensure the studios are equipped to deliver great game experiences for players while operating at their best. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure across development, publishing, finance, HR, and other business functions while making a meaningful impact on the future of the studio.
Role Requirements
Completed bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
2+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, finance, corporate strategy, business operations, or a related field.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business situations and develop actionable recommendations.
Experience using Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Familiarity with statistics, forecasting, optimization, or other analytical techniques.
Ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and problem-solving while applying sound judgment to validate outputs for accuracy and quality.
Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and driving impact through leadership roles, entrepreneurial ventures, side projects, student organizations, or other extracurricular activities.
Highly curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $20.00 - $50.00 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
