Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Engineering Manager - Infrastructure is responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team focused on the CI/CD pipeline and related infrastructure, which includes both cloud and on-premises solutions. This includes ensuring the team follows best practices while architecting, developing, scaling, and optimizing our build and distribution pipeline for multiple game titles across globally distributed teams and partners. The ideal candidate has broad experience automating large-scale software/game builds and excels at the intersection of development and infrastructure, taking the team to the next level.
This is a hands-on management position; time will be balanced between leading and mentoring the team, with a significant portion of Individual Contributor (IC) work, including coding and technical problem-solving.

Lead and mentor infrastructure team, fostering best practices and technical excellence. Manage team's contribution to pipeline development from code submission to artifact distribution. Own the technical roadmap for build, release, and infrastructure systems. Drive optimization efforts for build times and infrastructure costs. Collaborate with Engineers, Designers, Artists, and IT. Ensure infrastructure supports globally distributed teams and partners. Target all relevant game platforms (desktop, consoles, mobile). Plan for team growth and new roles. Oversee documentation for developed systems. Monitor key metrics and champion continuous improvement. Manage on-call rotation, incident response, and postmortem processes. Oversee operational health and lifecycle management for infrastructure services. Provide security oversight for access control systems. Conduct 1:1s, provide performance feedback, and support career development. 3+ years of engineering management experience. 8+ years software engineering and/or DevOps experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience. Experience with incident management and moving to a proactive team. Extensive knowledge of cloud compute and storage platforms (AWS). Experience with configuration management and deployment of cloud compute nodes. Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, TeamCity). Experience with Perforce. Extensive experience with scripting languages (Python, batch, bash). Experience with architecture and design of complex, large-scale systems. Proven expertise in automation. Strong understanding of first-party platform dynamics and submission processes (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo).
