I. KEY JOB DUTIES

Position Summary

• Are you passionate about video games, art, and the incredible new world of AI technology? We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Junior Generative Game Artist. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to begin your career at the intersection of art and artificial intelligence.
• In this role, you will learn from our senior artists and assist in creating game assets using cutting-edge generative AI tools like Midjourney, ChatGPT, Gemini Nano Banana, Layer.ai, and OpenArt.ai. Your primary tool for refining and finishing these assets will be Adobe Photoshop. If you have a good artistic eye, a love for learning, and a foundational knowledge of Photoshop, we want to help you grow into a key member of our creative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in Asset Creation: Support the art team by using AI tools to generate initial concepts for characters, environments, and props based on guidance from senior artists.
• Learn Prompt Engineering: Under mentorship, you will learn and apply basic-to-intermediate prompt engineering techniques to generate images that align with the project's art style.
• Image Refinement and Cleanup: Use your Adobe Photoshop skills to perform essential post-production tasks, including cleaning up artifacts, making color corrections, compositing elements, and preparing AI-generated images for in-game use.
• Asset Management: Help organize, name, and maintain the growing library of AI-generated assets to ensure the team can access them easily.
• Experiment and Learn: Actively participate in training sessions and spend time experimenting with our suite of AI tools to develop your skills.
• Support the Team: Provide general support to the art department as needed, contributing to a positive and collaborative studio culture.

II. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

• Passion for Art & AI: You must have a genuine interest in both digital art and the possibilities of generative AI.
• Photoshop Proficiency: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with a minimum of 6 to 12 months of consistent use for personal or academic projects.
• A Creative Portfolio: A portfolio is required, but professional experience is not. We want to see your potential! Please include any digital art, drawings, or personal projects made with AI tools (Midjourney, etc.) that showcase your creativity and artistic eye.
• Good Artistic Foundation: A basic understanding of composition, color, and lighting.
• Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to be trained, listen to feedback, and rapidly develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in English and/or Vietnamese within a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

• Experience with other digital art software like Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, etc.
• Personal experience creating a small game or mod.
• Familiarity with the basic concepts of 3D modeling (e.g., playing with Blender).
• Active participation in online art or AI art communities.

3 to 5 years of experience in bid management, business development, or sales. Essential bilingualism (French and English). Excellent project management, coordination, writing, communication, and presentation skills. Strong analytical, synthesis, and organizational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Collaborative spirit, customer orientation, and a developed sense of quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint), Canva or similar tools, and a CRM (HubSpot a plus).
