As a Lead UI Artist, you will play an important role in defining and maintaining the visual language of our UI, ensuring it not only fits the Cyberpunk aesthetic but also enhances gameplay and player immersion. In this leadership role, you will coach, guide and empower the UI Art team , fostering collaboration and creativity while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cohesive interfaces. You will work closely with the Art Director, UI Designers, and Production to align vision, maintain consistency across the project, and uphold the artistic integrity of the UI. This role emphasizes a clear artistic vision, with a focus on creating dynamic, stylized, and cohesive UI elements that enhance the cyberpunk atmosphere and provide a memorable player experience. **Daily responsibilities:** - Lead, mentor, and inspire the UI art team, providing feedback and guidance to ensure artistic quality and professional growth. - Collaborate with UI designers, artists, and the Art Director to create a visually cohesive, user-centered UI that amplifies the Cyberpunk aesthetic. - Establish and maintain a clear visual language that complements the game's core design and narrative direction. - Ensure consistency and quality of the UI art style across all aspects of the game. - Partner with directors and Production to plan, prioritize, and track UI work, ensuring timely delivery at the expected quality. ## Qualifications - 7+ years of experience as a UI artist in the games industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. - Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in crafting UI for AAA titles and maintaining a cohesive art style. - Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Figma or other relevant software. - Strong artistic sense, with the ability to balance creative, stylized aesthetics and user-centered functionality. - Experience leading and mentoring other artists, with excellent communication and leadership skills. - Demonstrated experience to adapt design principles to create unique, recognizable UI that reflects the cyberpunk theme. - Proficiency in typography, color theory, and layout. - Ability to deliver and receive feedback in a productive and accountable manner. **Nice to Have** _(Please note that these skills are not required to apply for the position)_ - General knowledge of Unreal Engine workflows and pipelines. - Understanding of how UI interacts with gameplay systems within Unreal. - Familiarity with Blueprints or general scripting principles. - Experience collaborating across disciplines (design, engineering, VFX) within Unreal. - Deep understanding of the cyberpunk genre, including familiarity with iconic cyberpunk films, games, and visual references. **Candidates should include a portfolio in their application.** ## Additional Information The application window for this position will close by 04/30/2026. **This job requires working in Boston, US.** **Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.** ​​​​ **Health & Well-being** - Company paid medical healthcare (dental vision & mental health included). - Paid leave — 26 days of vacation, 10 sick days, & 12 calendar holidays per year. - No dress-code - we like to keep it casual. - 401K with employer matching. - Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) – $100 per month to use towards fitness, wellness, internet, home office equipment, learning, streaming services, and more. - Menstrual Leave. **Perks & Professional Growth** - Flexible working hours. - Trainings, lectures and courses - internal workshops, knowledge-sharing initiatives, online tutorials, and e-learning classes are all available. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
