You will craft the future of atmospheric storytelling and serve as a key architect through world building. We are looking for an experienced artist who thrives on collaboration and teamwork. You will own the skyline to the streets, defining the visual identity of Cyberpunk 2. **Note:** - This role is responsible for level art and authoring architectural assets like building kits. World building locations with these kits and set-dressing the environment with props authored by our X-Dev team. - This role will require occasional sprints devoted to authoring materials for our library. - This role will not be authoring the props that are used to set-dress locations. If you’re an excellent asset artist, your skillset may be a better fit on our internal X-Dev team whom we collaborate with daily. - Artists should include a portfolio to their application. **Responsibilities:** - Design and execute environment art from sprawling city districts to intimate, high-detail interiors. - Collaborate with the Art Directors and Art Leads to maintain artistic consistency and vision for the game while building captivating worlds. - Create industry leading Architectural kits fitting Cyberpunk 2 art styles, covering both modeling, texturing and world building. - Create photorealistic materials for different uses (tiling, decals, etc.) in a variety of tools. Utilizing an excellent understanding of physically based rendering, art direction, and player guidance. - Collaborate effectively with the entire Cyberpunk 2 team, across disciplines. Strong communication skills are highly valued and a team-first attitude. - Maintaining and improving production methods and optimizing pipelines while meeting deadlines. - Mentoring and providing feedback to other artists. ## Qualifications - 6+ years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent skill demonstrated through work or portfolio). - Mastery of Unreal Engine. - Industry leading DCC skills with Blender, Substance Painter & Designer - Maya & 3D Studio Max are valued however Blender is our primary 3D modeling package. - Expert sense of scale, proportions and composition. - Strong knowledge of color theory and lighting. - Strong skills in procedural material creation software (Adobe Substance 3D Designer) - Strong Knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR). - Strong awareness of the role materials play in constructing the final frame and how materials fit in a project’s context. - Creativity and an excellent eye for detail. - Strong problem solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Passion for games. **Nice to have's: (Please note that these skills are not required to apply for the position)** - An understanding of level design principles. - Experience with Google workplace, Miro, Jira, Confluence, P4V. - Experience with photogrammetry & sculpting. - Experience with procedural content creation. ## Additional Information The application window for this position will close by 04/30/2026. **This job is hybrid/in-office.** **Health & Well-Being** - Company-paid medical healthcare (dental, vision, and mental). - Free mental health support, including access to counseling, psychiatric care, and a variety of well-being webinars. - Paid leave — 26 days of vacation, 10 sick days, & 12 calendar holidays per year. - 401K with employer matching. - Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) – $100 per month to use towards fitness, wellness, internet, home office equipment, learning, streaming services, and more. - Menstrual leave — employees who menstruate can take one extra day off when experiencing period pain. - RED Parents Network — support for working parents, including childcare benefits, and family-friendly events. **Perks & Professional Growth** - Flexible working hours. - Trainings, lectures, and courses — internal workshops, knowledge-sharing initiatives, online tutorials, and e-learning classes are all available. - A welcome pack filled with goodies — to help you feel right at home once you join the team. **Life in the Office** - Dog-friendly office — bring your pooch with you and look after them while working!
