You will collaborate closely with QA Managers, Production, Development, Tech, Shared Development Services, QA Experts, and cross functional teams to support technical integrity, engine and tools quality, performance, stability, gameplay consistency, and development pipeline reliability.
As a Senior Tech QA Analyst, you will be expected to manage your areas of responsibility with confidence and initiative, navigate ambiguous or evolving technical problems, influence quality practices across disciplines, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other QA team members.
Responsibilities
Technical QA Ownership: Take ownership of complex technical QA initiatives, testing areas, or quality problems from initial assessment through validation, reporting, and resolution.
Strategic QA Execution: Translate the overarching Cyberpunk 2 QA strategy into practical technical testing approaches, coverage, measurable outcomes, and priorities within your areas of ownership.
Quality Execution & Delivery: Plan and execute technical testing and milestone verification, ensuring quality objectives are completed on time and meet expected technical quality standards.
Risk Based Test Strategy: Assess technical changes, systems, and features to identify risk, determine appropriate coverage, and focus testing effort where it provides the greatest quality value.
Data Driven Risk Management: Analyze technical quality metrics, KPIs, defect trends, crashes, performance data, and other signals to identify emerging risks and recommend practical mitigation.
Technical Investigation & Analysis: Lead or support complex technical investigations involving crashes, performance, stability, memory, engine behavior, tools, platforms, integrations, and development pipelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with Development, Production, Tech, QA, and external QA partners to align on technical quality expectations, validation requirements, risks, and outcomes.
Quality Advocacy: Establish clear quality expectations within areas of expertise, challenge insufficient coverage or unacceptable risk, and help development partners make informed quality decisions.
Transparent Quality Reporting: Produce clear, data informed reporting on technical quality status, blockers, risks, testing outcomes, and readiness for relevant stakeholders.
Process & Tool Optimization: Identify and drive improvements to QA workflows, tools, testing frameworks, technical documentation, dashboards, metrics, and validation practices.
Technical Guidance & Mentorship: Share technical knowledge, review testing approaches, provide feedback, and mentor less experienced QA team members.
Cross Team Technical Support: Act as a senior QA partner for complex technical problems requiring coordination across multiple teams, disciplines, systems, or locations.
