This Junior Technical Audio Designer will join an award-winning development team to work on a AAA remaster/port project. The role involves migrating existing audio data to Unreal Engine 5, overseeing the porting of modding tools, and ensuring the game's audio mix and presentation remain consistent and performant across multiple platforms.
Requirements
- Experience with audio for games and creating interactive experiences
- Experience with Wwise
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5
- Competency in optimisation and mixing
- Excellent communication skills
- Take ownership of the game's audio and ensure it remains consistent with the original and is performant across multiple platforms (PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Steam Deck, ROG Xbox Ally, Switch 2)
- Utilise Unreal Engine's unique audio capabilities (e.g. procedural audio systems, greater runtime effects)
- Write and modify Blueprints to implement audio where tooling cannot
- Oversee migration tooling and data conversion
