Climax Studios is seeking an experienced Technical Motion Capture Animator to create high-quality animation using performance capture data for characters, creatures, and cinematic scenes. This role involves cleaning, processing, and retargeting captured data, collaborating with various teams, and integrating animations into game engines like Unreal Engine 5. The animator will ensure animation quality meets artistic and technical standards for a AAA project.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Technical/ Mo Cap Animator on at least one published AAA console title.
- Extensive experience with MotionBuilder and Maya.
- Proven experience with mocap clean up tools.
- Understanding of human anatomy, body/ creature mechanics, and all animation principles.
- Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5.
