Position Overview:
ReelShort is seeking an experienced content sales executive to build our licensing business across North America and Latin America. Based in Los Angeles and reporting to the General Manager, this role takes our owned library into the studios, streamers, and regional buyers, and builds the deal infrastructure that makes it repeatable. This is a relationship-led role: we are hiring for a network at the senior executive level and for the ability to walk a catalogue into a room and close on it.

Our target salary range for this role is between $150,000 and $200,000. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, competitive healthcare, and other employee benefits.
8+ years in content sales, distribution, or licensing at a studio, distributor, or major streamer, with a documented track record of closed deals and revenue. An active network of decision-makers at the SVP and EVP level across major studios and streamers. Deal fluency: ability to structure format, finished-tape, and remake rights; negotiate minimum guarantees and back-end; and read long-form distribution agreements. Comfort selling non-traditional formats, specifically vertical short drama. Direct experience selling into Latin America and North America, including familiarity with regional broadcaster and streamer landscape. Spanish or Portuguese capability a strong plus. Prior work with unscripted, sports, or brand-adjacent IP a plus. Existing agency and management relationships a plus. Willingness to operate as an individual contributor in year one, with the ability to build a team as the business grows. Diligent, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
