Professional experience implementing UI in a shipped game, using Unreal Engine (UMG + Blueprints) or equivalent engine; Strong animation sensibility — you understand timing, easing, and motion hierarchy, and you can build it yourself rather than hand it off; Experience with visual scripting languages (Blueprints, Lua, or equivalent); Comfortable reading and acting on feedback from leads, UX, and QA without friction; Portfolio or reel demonstrating shipped UI work — implementation quality matters more than concept art
