The Developer Success team at Discord is building tools for game developers to integrate Discord's power directly into their games, enhancing the gaming experience for millions of users. This role involves building features across the Discord app, developer portal, APIs, and real-time infrastructure, collaborating with engineers, and owning projects from design to launch. You will also work closely with game developer partners, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality software.
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years experience as a software engineer.
- Experience with game development.
- Experience with Python, Elixir, Rust, Typescript/React, or C++.
- A sense for product and design, with a willingness to collaborate.
- A growth mindset, not afraid to learn new things or ask for help.
- Actively leverage AI coding tools to accelerate productivity.
- Experience with mobile development (Bonus).
- Experience with Unreal and/or Unity game engines (Bonus).
