Most finance leaders inherit a function. You'd be building one. This is a high-impact role at a fast-moving tech business, working with local and global stakeholders and the real autonomy to design the SOPs, systems and governance from the ground up.

What you’ll build with us:

This is finance with its sleeves rolled up. Owning day-to-day operations, coordinating tax, VAT, corporate filings and audits and running clean reporting across a global group, multi-currency, intercompany eliminations and all. Beyond the ledgers, your read on the numbers informs the commercial calls that carry Juice Play forward.We know that innovation ignites when we build and create together, in person. The impact you’ll make:

• Take full ownership of day-to-day finance operations for the Juice Play entity, including accounting oversight and reporting
• Deliver accurate, timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for a global group, including multi-currency, intercompany eliminations and consolidation
• Support tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax filings and coordinate audits
• Ensure finance and operational processes meet ATO obligations and broader iGaming regulatory expectations
• Design and implement finance and operational SOPs to support a growing business
• Select, implement and improve systems and workflows to drive efficient operations
• Provide financial insights to inform commercial decision-making and strategic initiatives
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders on structuring, intercompany arrangements and scalability planning
• Support the hiring and development of a small local finance/operations team over time
• Contribute to the broader operational needs of establishing and running the Juice Play entity

Your track record:

• 5+ years' experience in accounting or finance, including time in a Finance Manager or senior-level role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, VAT, corporate tax and audit coordination
• Experience operating within a regulated environment
• A track record of setting up or improving finance processes, systems and SOPs in a growing business
• Professional qualification (CPA / CA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g. AASB/IFRS or equivalent)

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience within the iGaming industry, or exposure to its regulatory requirements
• Time spent in a high-growth tech or startup environment
• A history of hiring, mentoring or developing junior finance team members
• Strong stakeholder management skills across a global organisation
• Confidence with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack and Jira

5+ years' experience in accounting or finance, including a senior-level role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Strong knowledge of tax compliance, VAT, corporate tax, and audit coordination. Experience in a regulated environment and a track record of improving finance processes/systems. Professional qualification (CPA / CA / ACCA or equivalent). Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g., AASB/IFRS). Bonus: iGaming industry experience, high-growth tech experience, team leadership, Google Suite/Slack/Jira proficiency.
