The Director of Analytics for American Football will lead and coach an analytics team, shaping the analytics strategy and execution for an iconic EA sports franchise. This role involves working with product management, game development, finance, and marketing partners to inform decisions that enhance player experience and drive business performance. The director will report to the VP of Data and Insights for EA SPORTS.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience leading and developing analytics teams, including coaching, feedback, and delivery accountability
- Experience working on live service games or similar digital products
- Ability to build relationships and influence senior partners using data
- Strong communication skills, including presenting analysis to non-technical teams
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R for statistical analysis to review and guide analytical work
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests or other experiments
- Familiarity with using GenAI tools to support analytics tasks
- Interest in games and using data to improve player experiences
