Although our approach may seem simple, it leads us to create the best work of our careers, bringing unique and immersive experiences to our players. _**This is a 6-month Temporary Full Time opportunity working Hybrid in Montreal.**_ As a 3D Modeler at Motive, you will report to the Lead Environment Artist and collaborate with the Art Director and a multidisciplinary art team to create high-quality, game-ready assets. You will play a key role in shaping immersive environments by delivering architectural elements and props that meet both artistic and technical standards. **Responsibilities:** - You will create high-quality 3D models for architectural elements and props aligned with artistic direction
- You will perform modeling and UV mapping of assets
- You will implement and validate assets in Unreal Engine
- You will optimize assets to meet performance and memory budgets **Qualifications:** - 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end game development pipeline
- Proficiency in at least one major 3D DCC tool (Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender)
- Experience working with Unreal Engine
- Strong skills in both high-poly and low-poly modeling for real-time applications
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently when needed **Nice to Have:** - Experience working on AAA game productions
- Experience with sculpting or texturing tools (e.g., ZBrush, Substance Painter, Fusion 360, or similar)
- Experience with hard surface modeling
- Background in industrial design or related fields
