This Quality Designer role at EA Vancouver focuses on developing and implementing quality strategies for EA Sports FC gameplay features. The role involves end-to-end ownership of quality, collaborating with development teams, analyzing data, and advocating for a 'Player First' approach to enhance the player experience.
Requirements
- The ability to play FC at a high level, understanding gameplay mechanics, exploits, game modes, and community feedback.
- A passion for the sport, understanding different tactics.
- 4+ years of applicable work experience.
- Experience with data analysis, or equivalent analytical experience.
- In-depth knowledge of software/game development, including both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Work with medium-to-large-scale teams. Work with distributed peers.
- Experience with bug prevention and containment strategies.
- Defect and Task tracking tool experience (JIRA, DevTrack, TestRail, or Hansoft).
- Perforce or other collaboration tool experience a plus.
- Experience working within a continuous delivery or continuous deployment model.
- Some coding experience, or education, a plus.
