As the Senior Director of Operations for Battlefield North America, you will lead and optimize the operational efficiency, sustainability, and strategic alignment of Ripple Effect and Motive studios. This role involves overseeing people systems, planning, culture, and infrastructure across Los Angeles, Montreal, and Vancouver, ensuring seamless collaboration and the delivery of world-class Battlefield experiences.

Requirements

- Lead with a Battlefield “franchise first” mentality, serving the franchise and players above the studio. - Promote and champion the vision, mission, and strategic programs across the Battlefield franchise. - Maintain and develop a healthy and engaging culture through leadership by example, mentorship, and growing leader capabilities. - Ensure conditions of success for game teams and build a culture of excellence, high performance, accountability, and ongoing growth. - Partner with the VP/GM North America and other Operations leaders to align goals, share best practices, and strengthen global studio operations. - Champion studio culture and leadership development programs. - Inspire and drive teams to execute with excellence. - Support game development processes, including studio roles in Battlefield title planning and Game Development (GDF) processes. - Proven understanding of the creative process from ideation to prototype to production. - Own Ripple Effect and Motive studio operations: people systems, planning, facilities, and shared services. - Partner with production, craft, and support leaders to ensure simple, transparent, and scalable day-to-day operations. - Continuously assess and improve how Battlefield North American Studios plan, communicate, and deliver, removing bottlenecks and creating clarity. - Lead operational planning across Los Angeles, Montreal, and Vancouver sites. - Build and maintain long-range studio plans anticipating team growth, hiring, and facility needs. - Provide visibility into team capacity and priorities, ensuring project and support team alignment. - Work with VP/GM and studio leadership to manage dependencies with other Battlefield studios. - Track key operational metrics (space, staffing, engagement) and take action on risks. - Help teams adapt planning methods to match project phase while maintaining clarity and efficiency. - Manage studio budget, forecasting, and financial planning. - Oversee space and infrastructure planning across all sites for smooth scaling and collaboration. - Lead workforce planning and talent growth initiatives in partnership with People Experience, TA, and Facilities. - Maintain studio dashboards tracking operational health, engagement, and capacity. - Partner with People Experience to drive engagement, leadership, and recognition programs.
