About this job

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to lead the acquisition and licensing of IP for EA games, products, and promotions. This role involves managing partnerships, negotiations, and contract operations, reporting to the Sr. Director. You will develop and execute strategies for licensing external IP and oversee relationships with partners across entertainment, consumer products, and merchandising.

Requirements

- Lead inbound and outbound licensing deal activity across several EA Entertainment studios, including contracting external IP for games and promotional plans, and outbound licensing of EA IP for media outside of games. - Own the deal lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiating, and closing contracts, developing negotiation strategies informed by financial analysis, brand considerations, and franchise priorities. - Build and manage relationships with studios, brands, agencies, and external partners, serving as a primary contact and overseeing coordination and performance tracking. - Partner with Studios, Brand, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Ad Sales to lead efficient deal execution and present deal summaries and recommendations to senior management. - Ensure assigned deals are properly documented and tracked, partnering with Legal and Finance to support compliance, approvals, reporting, and performance tracking. - Possess 4+ years of relevant experience in business development, licensing, or business affairs within gaming or entertainment industries. - Demonstrate an interest in entertainment and gaming, a love for negotiation, and comfort with financial and commercial fundamentals. - Be comfortable operating independently.
