We are looking for a technically curious Software Engineer Intern to join our Enterprise Engineering Team. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about applying artificial intelligence and automation to enhance data engineering workflows, create efficiency, and accelerate product improvement. You'll work with experienced engineers and architects to build tools powered by modern AI technologies while reporting to a Technical Director on the team.
Responsibilities
Use AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Hugging Face) to develop AI workflows, integrations, and data efficiencies.
Develop AI solutions or scripts that boost productivity in software development, data management, or analytics.
Analyze data and engineering workflows to identify optimization opportunities using LLMs,GenAI, or ML tools/models.
Research new AI frameworks and tools for enterprise or team use. Create clear documentation of experiments, results, and implementation steps to help scale AI adoption internally.
Work with engineers and team to measure gains and drive impact
Collaborate with data and engineering teams on real-world projects involving engineering efficiencies analytics, data pipelines, and systems.
Qualifications
Required:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
Programming skills in Python (experience with libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain).
Familiarity with MCP, LLM, and cloud platforms
Ideally you will have:
Experience building AI Agents.
Coursework or projects involving machine learning, AI, or LLM.
Understanding of software engineering workflows and how AI can enhance them.
Experience with data, such as working with large datasets, data processing pipelines, or analytics tools.
You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2027.
At this time, we are considering Undergrad students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2027, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2027. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 16-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Pay Transparency - North America
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$65,000 - $70,000 CAD
