About this job
This Software Quality Assurance Engineer will join the Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team, focusing on the EA SPORTS FC football game titles. The role involves improving existing test methodologies, designing and leading quality strategies for features, and overseeing the entire quality plan. Responsibilities also include implementing verification processes, identifying risks, and assisting in debugging.
Requirements
- Experience in software development, quality assurance, or game design
- Familiarity with automated testing and common automation tool sets
- Experience with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Project Management for planning and execution of test strategy and tasks using Scrum/Agile process
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software/game development
- Understand concepts of defect prevention and containment
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with Grey/White box testing in development environments
- Translate project metrics into data-driven decisions and strategies
- Passion for creating high-quality player experiences
