As a Software Development Engineer III, you'll design software features for Backend applications.
Reporting to the Tech Lead, you'll be an important member of the Product & Tech Team, focusing on delivering moderate complexity features throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

What you will do
Design well-defined features according to specifications.
Debug and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
Create high-quality, scalable, and reusable code following best practices.
Participate in meetings, create the RFC process, and support team plans.
Be a initial on-call responder for managed software and mentor junior engineers.
Help hire processes and collaborate with team members.
Contribute to continuous improvement and support onboarding of new team members.
AI exposure with Kiro, copilot.
5+ years of software development experience with expertise in Java, Spring, Microservices, and Kafka.
Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Distributed Systems, and scalable architectures.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, SQL databases, and API development.
Strong focus on clean coding, automation, testing, and production troubleshooting.
Experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, and version control.
Experience designing scalable and available applications.
Mentor engineers, contribute to technical design decisions, and lead solutions.
