The Content Delivery team builds the critical technologies that deliver high-quality content on demand to live Fortnite players. You'll develop core features for the next generation of Unreal Engine, working across game teams and Epic projects to shape how dynamic content is delivered at scale.

Design and implement low-level engine systems across multiple platforms, focusing on robustness, performance, and usability. Re-design Unreal Engine to support long-term vision for granular content delivery. Own design, development, and delivery of complex new features for live game products. Integrate multiple engine subsystems for maintainable solutions. Design stable, forward-thinking APIs for internal and external developers. Collaborate across core engine and gameplay teams. Drive technical excellence, including debugging, maintenance, system reliability, and optimization. Strong C++ skills with ability to design low-level game systems and tooling. Experience creating and maintaining APIs with strong backward compatibility requirements. Demonstrated ability to apply code design patterns in live environments. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate for deliverables. Experience with multiple programming languages. Excellent communication skills. Experience writing performant code across multiple hardware platforms, including game consoles. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows is a plus.
