We are seeking a Freelance Project Manager for a 3-month contract to support the Lead Project Manager in delivering a major First-Person Shooter (FPS) esports tournament. This role focuses on event pre-planning, operational execution, and maintaining seamless communication with clients and vendors.
Pre-Planning & Timelines: Assist the Lead PM in building workback schedules, tracking milestones, and organizing logistics for tournament execution.
Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for client interactions, status updates, and cross-functional team coordination.
On-Site & Event Execution: Provide operational support during pre-event prep and live tournament delivery, helping triage issues in a fast-paced environment.
Budget & Vendor Support: Help monitor project budgets, manage vendor quotes/invoices, and ensure deliverable timelines are met.
Language: Fluent Mandarin & English speaker (required for client/vendor communication).
Experience: Prior esports project management experience required. (Concert/live production management experience is acceptable if you have a strong understanding of gaming and esports).
Skills: Strong organization, timeline management, and clear communication under live-event pressure.
