Fool's Theory is seeking a Technical Animator to join their team working on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past expansion. This role involves implementing animation-related features using engine systems, working with both asset-based and procedural animation, and collaborating across animation, gameplay, and cinematic departments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for R&D of new technical solutions, contributing to crafting great games with a passionate and flexible team.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in the Game Industry or equivalent.
- Professional experience with the interactive animation systems.
- Ability to implement logic using Blueprints.
- Experience with skeletal mesh rigging and skinning in Maya.
- Keeping up with technological nuances in the field of animation.
- Ability to come up with solutions and solve problems as they arise.
- Ability to clearly convey constructive feedback.
- Excellent communication skills and eager to work in a group.
- Fluent English.
- Experience in Python or other programming languages (Nice to have).
- Experience as a Rigger is a plus (Nice to have).
