// Open Role at Gameloft
Lead technical direction for Gameloft's Gametech Innovation team, optimizing production pipelines and tool development across Unity and Unreal with a strong focus on C++, C#, and AI integration.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
The Gametech Innovation team builds the tools and systems Gameloft’s game teams work with, from AI in production pipelines to art pipeline optimisation across Unity and Unreal. We are looking for a Tech Lead to take technical ownership of that work as the team continues to grow its scope. You will be responsible for the architecture, establish quality standards, and work directly with the studios using the team’s solutions.
What it means on a daily basis
What success will look like
In the beginning, it means getting familiar with the codebases, connecting with the studios the team supports, and identifying the most urgent areas to address. As you settle in, you will have set the architecture direction for the team’s main projects and established how technical quality is held. Later on, the benchmark is straightforward: studios use the team’s tools every day, and the developers around you are making more effective technical choices without needing much guidance.
Who you would be working with
You will be reporting to our Gametech Innovation Manager, and collaborate very closely with other Developers from the Gametech Innovation team across multiple studios worldwide, including Paris, Montreal, Bucharest, and others, offering opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Day to day you will work with game programmers, technical artists and producers on Gameloft's game teams internationally.
Your recruitment journey
Where this role can take you
Over time, and depending on your interests and the team’s needs, this role can grow in two directions: towards people management as the team expands, or towards architecture and technical direction across our projects and studios. Training, mentorship and coaching programmes are available along the way, and Talent Move lets you look at internal opportunities elsewhere at Gameloft.
