Senior Game Developer (C++)

We are looking for an experienced C++ Game Developer to join the team working on Disney Magic Kingdoms. As part of the development team, you will contribute to the full development cycle of the game  building new features and technologies, supporting existing systems, and helping us continuously improve the quality and performance of the product. You will work with different areas of the game, combining strong C++ engineering fundamentals with hands-on game development and close collaboration across disciplines.

Daily power-ups

• Develop game features in C++ according to design specifications, technical requirements, and existing programming standards;
• Integrate different game components, including engine systems, gameplay, UI, graphics, animations, and sound;
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code;
• Optimize and troubleshoot game systems to ensure strong performance, quality, and responsiveness;
• Contribute to game design specifications and technical specifications;
• Support and improve existing game technologies and systems;
• Investigate technical issues and contribute to solutions throughout the development lifecycle.

Your allies

You will work closely with other Game Developers, 2D and 3D Artists, Game Designers, Level Designers, and Backend Developers, contributing your technical expertise throughout the development process. You will be part of a cross-functional environment where close collaboration between engineering, art, and design is essential to bringing new game content and features to players.

Leveling up

This role gives you the opportunity to deepen your expertise in C++ game development, work with complex real-time systems, and gain experience across different areas of a live mobile game. You will be able to strengthen your knowledge of game architecture, performance optimization, multithreading, and system integration while contributing to a globally recognized Disney title.

• Understanding of performance, optimization, and application responsiveness;
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills;

YOUR PLAYER PROFILE

You are a developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems while keeping the bigger product picture in mind. Experience in any of the following areas will be a strong advantage:

• Programming for mobile devices and/or consoles;
• Professional or personal experience in video game development or other real-time 3D applications;
• Knowledge of client-server communication and networking technologies;
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Lua, TypeScript, or similar;
• Experience working with Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
