As a Senior Gameplay Animation Engineer, you will develop new animation features and gameplay mechanics, collaborating closely with animators and designers. Your role involves optimizing code, debugging animation issues, and ensuring high-quality gameplay for a new sports franchise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Excellent 3D math and linear algebra skills
- Solid familiarity and experience with C++
- 2+ years of proven experience working with animation or gameplay systems
- Implementation experience in inverse kinematics, procedural animation, keyframe animation, and forward kinematics
- Ability to explain technical topics to varying levels of expertise
- An eye for detail in creating dynamic character animation
- Love for video games
