Join our finance team, where you will play a key role in accounting operations, financial reporting, and process optimization. As a Senior Accountant you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and drive improvements in accounting and reporting processes.

How will you make an impact with us? 

  • Execute day-to-day accounting activities and collaborate with external Accounting & Tax (A&T) service providers.

  • Lead month-end closing processes, including trial balance and report reconciliations, balances verifications, and AP/AR aging analysis.

  • Prepare and submit all periodic tax returns, including VAT, CIT, JPK files, and withholding tax (WHT), ensuring full compliance with current Polish tax regulations.

  • Prepare statutory annual financial statements (including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement) in accordance with local accounting standards.

  • Collaborate with finance, legal, IT and procurement teams to resolve accounting issues, support cross-functional projects and maintain accurate vendor master data.

  • Administer and maintain accounting and workflow systems, including coordinating system updates, and troubleshooting operational issues.

Requirements

This is the right job for you if you have:

  • 5 years of experience in a similar independent accounting role, preferably within a multinational environment or shared-service environment.

  • A university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a professional qualification is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and tax regulations, with a solid understanding of internal controls.

  • Familiarity with JPK reporting requirements, including JPK_CIT, and working knowledge of KSeF.

  • Proficiency in English and Polish, both written and spoken.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights..

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Surprise us with:

  • Working knowledge of international tax regulations and different local GAAP.

  • Familiarity with ERP and workflow management tools.
