// Open Role at Innersloth
Innersloth, creators of Among Us, is hiring a remote UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience for their new game. This full-time, contract role requires strong design skills, collaboration, and a portfolio showcasing game UI/UX expertise. This role is open to North American residents only.
Hello!
Innersloth is a small remote team scattered mostly in North America. We released Among Us in 2018 and are now working on a new game. We are looking to expand our creative team with a full-time, contracted, UI/UX Designer.
Your focus will be on UI/UX Design: creating and maintaining UI/UX documentation, style guides, flows, wireframes, prototypes, mock-ups, and ready-to-implement designs. Your role will be very iterative, proactively developing solutions to address usability feedback from both playtesters and the development team.
You'll report to the project's Game Directors, take direction from the Game Designer, and work alongside the art team. We don’t want to overscope this, but because we are a small team, sometimes responsibilities overlap - a willingness to learn and help is essential. You will not be working alone, and our team prioritizes providing support and ensuring you are thriving in your role.
We especially encourage marginalized groups and people from underrepresented backgrounds, genders, and locations to apply. Diverse voices make Innersloth better, and we strive to continue creating a diverse and welcoming space from the ground up.
Please note this is not an entry-level position, but we'll consider strong candidates with general experience working in games, UI/UX development, and/or visual design that accounts for the required skillset. Please absolutely include these things in your application!
What we're looking for:
Proactivity, independence, and accountability are extremely important for this position. If you show an aptitude for working well with others, handling conflict, and understanding UI/UX design for games, we want to hear from you!
This job opening is only valid for residents living in North America.
We're aiming for a January 11th, 2027 start date.
AI-dependent workflows are not a fit for this position. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their work, reasoning, and problem-solving without AI assistance.
The following points outline the knowledge, skills and abilities that we strongly prefer. None of these are strict dealbreakers, but reflect the type of experience we feel would lead to finding the right candidate for this position.
