- Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Dismantle, repair, adjust, and assemble manufacturing equipment based on blueprints, manuals, or sketches.
- Conduct equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers for service and repairs when necessary.
- Monitor equipment data, analyze trends, and address tool/module-related concerns to improve performance.
- Create detailed reports on system failures, update existing specifications, and develop new specs to enhance equipment reliability.
- Work with Module Engineering to execute experiments, implement equipment configuration changes, and collect data following published procedures.
- Support troubleshooting efforts and controlled experiments to meet module availability and performance targets, preventing future issues.
- Assist with tool installation and conversion during factory ramps, collaborating with engineering and construction teams to meet design and operational requirements.
- College diploma and 2-4 years of equipment maintenance experience or no experience required with an AA or AS degree.
- Proficiency in equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and semiconductor equipment.
- Experience in monitoring manufacturing tools and analyzing related data.
- Strong technical ability in equipment adjustment, assembly, and repair.
- Prior experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Automatic Test Equipment and disciplined execution processes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on data analysis and process improvement.
