- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline with 2+ years of experience focusing on on-prem cloud and virtualization technologies. - Strong expertise in source code management and software engineering, including Git-based workflows, branching, code review, SDLC, code quality, security, and testing best practices for infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong expertise in on-prem cloud infrastructure and OpenShift/VMware virtualization, including deployment, maintenance, migration, and scaling. - Proficiency in CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud, virtualized, and CI/CD environments. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Experience with cloud-native tools, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher), and their integration within on-prem cloud and virtualized environments (Preferred). - Strong experience with virtualization platforms, particularly OpenShift/VMware, including setup, management, migration, and troubleshooting (Preferred). - Scripting experience in Python, Bash, Powershell, or similar languages to support automation and improve operational workflows (Preferred). - Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack) for proactive infrastructure management (Preferred).
