// Open Role at Jagex
Join Jagex as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead their cloud migration to AWS, optimize hybrid infrastructure for RuneScape and other titles, and mentor a growing team. Take ownership of critical projects in a dynamic gaming environment.
Location: Cambridge, UK - This position offers flexible working options, including predominantly remote work. Applicants should be based (or willing to relocate) within a comfortable commuting distance of our office to attend onsite as required.
Are you a cloud platform engineer who is ready to take real ownership of the cloud infrastructure behind some of the world’s most-played games?
As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer in our Cloud Platform team, you’ll help maintain and evolve the hybrid infrastructure underpinning RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, and DragonWilds. We’re in the middle of a significant transformation - moving more and more of our infrastructure into the cloud - and we need someone who can lead in the AWS space, drive that programme forward, and mentor the team as we go.
This is hands-on, production-critical work across a wide remit: data centres, Linux, networking, cloud and everything in between. You’ll work alongside the Principal Cloud Tech Engineer, contribute to architectural decisions, and take real ownership of projects - not just support them.
