We are seeking an experienced Senior UE5 Open-World Level Artist to join our team and contribute to international AAA game projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for building high-quality open-world environments using Unreal Engine 5. You will work closely with Art Directors, Level Designers, Technical Artists, and international project teams to co-create game worlds that meet global AAA standards.
The ideal candidate possesses not only exceptional artistic expression but also a solid technical foundation in UE5, with the ability to independently construct, optimize, and deliver massive open-world regions.
Proficiently utilize UE5 open-world pipelines and tools, including:
World Partition
Data Layers
One File Per Actor (OFPA)
Landscape
Foliage
HLOD
Nanite
Lumen
PCG (Procedural Content Generation)
Responsible for scene performance optimization and asset management.
Participate in establishing open-world production standards and best practices.
Drive the implementation and integration of cutting-edge UE5 technologies within the project.

• 5+ years of professional experience in the game industry. • Contributed to at least one shipped AA or AAA game project. • Direct development experience in open-world projects. • Proficient in Unreal Engine 5. • Outstanding skills in scene composition, spatial design, and environmental storytelling. • Familiar with large-scale map production pipelines and asset management specifications. • Capable of independently taking ownership of massive regions from production to final quality control. • Good English documentation reading comprehension and cross-team collaboration skills. • Practical, project-proven experience with World Partition or large map Streaming management. • Experience optimizing Nanite and Lumen, or building and optimizing HLODs. • Experience with PCG (Procedural Content Generation) environment creation. • Experience with Landscape tools for large-scale terrain generation. • Experience in scene performance profiling and optimization.
