[Studio Support Div.] Native English Localization Specialist (1년 이상 / 계약직)

The KRAFTON Localization Team is a tight-knit team that aspires to deliver the fun and value of KRAFTON’s unique lineup of games across diverse genres to all our global players. What we do is not merely translation, but recreation of content to ensure that every player feels as if our content was created for them in their native language. We’re passionate about transcreating our experiences into the languages our players speak. Localization at KRAFTON is centered around linguistic excellence, high-end technology, and a successful balance of speedy content creation and quality. We are looking for someone to join us who is highly motivated with a passion for delivering high-quality localized games. 우리 팀과 함께할 미션을 소개합니다.

• Hands-on editing and proofreading of translated content from various sources, including human translation, machine translation, and AI-assisted output
• Performing post-editing and quality review on AI-translated content as part of the team's hybrid localization pipeline
• Creating and maintaining glossaries and style guides that feed into both human and AI translation workflows
• Planning and executing linguistic QA tasks, including evaluating translation quality across human and AI outputs using established metrics and frameworks
• Partnering with translators and external vendors to ensure consistency and tone are maintained throughout the game
• Providing linguistic feedback to improve AI translation models, prompts, and post-processing logic
• Establishing and improving guidelines and processes to push for higher translation quality

 

이런 경험을 가진 분과 함께 성장하고 싶습니다! (필수요건)

• 1+ years' experience in the localization industry as a linguist, editor, or copywriter, preferably in gaming
• Native-level English proficiency with experience reviewing game translation content
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances in both source and target languages
• Openness to working with AI-assisted translation workflows and emerging localization technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for video games and the art of localization
• Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented attitude

• Experience using CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ)
• Hands-on experience in game localization as a localization specialist or translator
• Experience with MTPE (machine translation post-editing) or AI-assisted translation review workflows
• Korean proficiency at TOPIK Level 5 or above, or equivalent business-level reading, writing, and speaking ability
