Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Monitor system performance, servers, and applications to ensure uptime and reliability
Perform basic Linux system administration tasks (user management, file permissions, process monitoring)
Assist in troubleshooting system, network, and application issues
Support deployment and release activities for applications
Write simple scripts (Shell/Python) to automate routine operational tasks
Work with logs to identify issues and escalate when required
Maintain documentation of processes, incidents, and configurations
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems (commands, file systems, permissions)
Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS basics)
Familiarity with any programming in language
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and willingness to learn

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical knowledge)

Experience

0 to 6 months (Internship experience in Linux/TechOps/Support is a plus)
