Working with our Core Technology team, you’ll build and refine electronics and enclosures, collaborating with software engineers and researchers to turn concepts into reliable, usable prototypes. This is a hands-on prototyping role, not a mass-production hardware program.
You’re a practical builder, comfortable with schematics, soldering, CAD, and testing. You balance speed with engineering discipline, make sensible build-versus-buy trade-offs, and take ownership of the complete prototype.
If you are interested in this position, please share your CV and examples of hardware you’ve built—photos, videos, or brief write-ups are welcome. Describe your contribution, a problem you solved, and how you tested it. Include your availability, proposed schedule, and contractor rate.

Hands-on experience with mechanical CAD and rapid enclosure prototyping like 3D printing. Experience integrating microcontrollers, sensors, wireless modules, and battery-powered electronics. Confidence using lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers). Ability to work independently, make sensible trade-offs, and deliver within short iteration cycles. Clear communication and documentation skills. Availability to work on-site in Hong Kong on a half-time basis for a two-month engagement.
