The Risk and Trading Team manages all Sports Betting products, prices, risk, boosts, specials, and promotions 24/7 for a fast-paced North American facing operator. This role involves monitoring sharp action, resolving customer queries, managing bet limits, analyzing player profitability, and collaborating on suspicious activity. It requires a data-driven individual obsessed with sports and sports betting, focused on the full 360 of the Sportsbook product.
Requirements
- Sports‑obsessed with strong, well‑rounded sports betting knowledge and a genuine interest in betting and odds
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a trading environment (preferred, not required)
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences
- Data‑obsessed with excellent mathematical skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving capability
- Able to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and capable of making quick, informed decisions
- High attention to detail and commitment to precision
- Excellent time‑management skills
- Ability to learn quickly, operate independently, and collaborate within a team
- Quick to adopt and adapt to new technology
- Strong initiative and exceptional work ethic
- Able to work remotely
- Able to work regular evenings and weekends
- Fully flexible - work schedules will align with business needs, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
